Willett was formed in the early 90's and is based in Rye, Westchester County, New York. Willett Companies. LLC, consists of several entities which acquire, own, operate, develop and manage commercial real estate primarily in the Tri State area. Willett owns and operates a commercial portfolio of more than 2 million sq ft of primarily Class A
and Class B multi tenanted office space.
Willett currently has a portfolio with a value of in
excess of $1BILLION and an annual rent roll in excess of $70M p.a.
Willett is owned and managed by Frank Kenny and
Bruce Beswick who have collectively over 40 years experience in the real estate industry and who in the course of the last 10 years have built a dynamic, energetic and focused property investment vehicle that has earned an outstanding reputation in its marketplace.
Frank Kenny who is the founder and CEO of Willett is a
Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Mr Kenny has worked in all
aspects of commercial real estate investment and
development on both the private and
Institutional side of the business in Europe and
in the US. Mr Kenny who is Irish came to the US
in 1983.
Bruce Beswick who is the CFO of
Willett graduated from Hobart College in 1974 and
received an MBA from the University of
Connecticut in 1989. Mr Beswick is a former
Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company and
for most of his career has been involved in the
real estate industry. Mr Beswick has
extensive experience in the
financing and completion of large
complex real estate transactions.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
Focusing on the fundamentals of location and demographics Willett seeks to create value by acquiring quality assets in site constrained markets that by virtue of their strategic location have potential for long term capital appreciation through capital
investment, energetic management and
creative marketing. Willett is a long term investor and acquires assets on the assumption that
they will be retained for a period of 7 to 10 years.
